December 6, 2026
In 2011, Hartford, South Dakota, started a new holiday tradition with Hometown Christmas. The theme for 2026 is "Country Christmas". This year’s event will feature a craft show, visits by Santa & Mrs. Claus, kids carnival & activities, gingerbread house contest, one of the biggest lighted parades in the region, and more! Hometown Christmas has something for all ages.
Thank you to our wonderful sponsors, awesome community and fantastic volunteers!
